Payment Services Directive 2 is EU Legislation mandating National Competent Authorities NCAs to authorise approved Third Party Providers access to accounts of Account Servicing Payment Service Providers. TPPs can act as an Account Information Service Providers and additionally as a Payment Initiation Service Provider.
As part of this ASPSP have to develop APIs based on PSD2 Regulatory Technical Standards RTS for SCA / CSC.
